Stoked you’ve joined me for Installment 6! We’ll keep this one extra short today.
Don’t miss out on upcoming Installments.
Let’s get straight to it.
1. Performative Speaking
This week, the PS team began our onboarding process for the inaugural cohort. It’s been incredible to meet all of you, hear your stories, and establish a sense of community.
Big Announcement: In his newsletter, Robbie announced the addition of 20 more spots for PS. With the added roster, he is also bringing in his partner and mentor, Tyler, to help run the course.
Check out the full announcement here.

2. Man’s Search for Meaning
I received this book as a gift last week and have started the first couple of chapters. It’s a gripping account of the holocaust from a prisoner’s perspective and the scenes described are hard to imagine. It’s made me reflect on my problems, especially the petty ones, that I often complain or stress about. If someone can survive the brutality they experienced, I am in no place to curse at the world for my blessings.
3. Japan vs America
This is something I’ve thought about a lot over the 3 years I’ve been in this country. If you have cultural contrasts you’d like me to explore, let me know! This got some great feedback, so I wrote a thread on individualism vs collectivism. Check it out below.
