Life comes at you gradually, then suddenly. This weekend epitomizes that notion. When I set foot on the online path 2 months ago, I had no idea where it would take me. 2 months later, it’s taken me to Austin, TX where I’m working on the Performative Speaking course with Robbie and the team. The energy in this Airbnb is palpable, and I’ve been soaking in as much of it while I can. I’m stoked for the launch on October 19th and the lives this course will change. But till then…
Learn more about the course here: Performative Speaking Course
Robbie helps professionals become better public speakers which lead to new opportunities, better jobs, and an all-around better life. Become the persuasive public speaker you want to be.
Now, to Pursuing Progress.
1. Birthday Boy
I turned 22 on 9/24 and was blessed to spend it in Austin with the PF team. We worked on the course, got some Texas tacos for dinner, and celebrated with some drinks. On the plane over to Austin, I spent a couple hours doing a deep dive into the core lessons I’ve learned over 22 years. I compiled them in this tweet thread below.
Have another lesson to add? Comment it below or shoot me a DM on Twitter. The best part of my weekend is when people respond to my newsletter. Don’t be shy.
2. The Danny Miranda Podcast
Danny released his long-awaited podcast this week. If you're not familiar with Danny, he’s a podcast host and writes a weekly newsletter for those pursuing the highest version of themselves. We’ve spoken on the phone and his energy is unmatched.
I listened to episode #4 with Hunter Weiss, a video creator, marketing agency owner, and avid marathon runner. They spoke about: Testing yourself, embracing momentum, accepting help and embodying excellence.

Make sure to follow both of these guys. They’ve supported me since the very beginning of my Twitter journey and I’m so glad to have met them. Genuine, talented and positively impacting lives everywhere: Danny Miranda & Hunter Weiss.
3. Hug Your Grandparents / Parents Today
I’m going off script here today. Yesterday, I received news that my Japanese grandma had passed. It was a long time coming, but when it happens, it sucks. I hate that I couldn’t be there for her one more time. All I want is to help her out of bed, go to our favorite sushi restaurant and hear her hilarious laugh one more time.
If you’re blessed to be in the same country as your grandparents or parents, hug them extra tight today. Tell them you love them. It’ll mean the world to you and them.

[Coach O Thread] As a sports fan, the spirit & energy of Coach Ed Orgeron is something I admire. 60 Minutes recently released an exclusive on him and I wanted to share my thoughts in a thread. Find it below:
